The design/build process gives you complete control over the costs of your renovation from the earliest stages.  The design, estimating, and construction phases of your renovation are combined in one continuous process, since your designer at Bryant Renovations, Trevor Keir, also supervises your construction.  That coordination gives you confidence and fosters a co-operative relationship between us, since you have one person to talk with throughout your renovation, who has thorough design and construction knowledge and twenty years of experience.

The process begins with a discussion of the construction budget and other costs, such as drawing and permit fees, contingencies, landscaping, appliances, and furniture.  A preliminary design stage provides up to three different schemes based on your wishes, needs, and realities. Design development takes one of these schemes (or some combination) and refines it in detail through plans and three-dimensional sketches to a finished idea that reflects your desires.  After it is further developed into technical drawings, it is guided through to city approval and then directly into construction.

While we would like everyone we design with to follow through into the building phase, some prefer to “shop around” before committing to a builder.  We are confident that in the end you will decide that we know your project intimately and are the best company to build it.
